ANATOMICA sandal is a pre-fabricated foot orthoses developed by expert musculoskeletal podiatrists to integrate orthotic-grade support within a lightweight, water-friendly sandal platform.
The ANATOMICORE™ footbed has been engineered to improve sagittal plane motion control, midfoot stability, and pressure redistribution through, and around the joints of the foot & ankle.
These design principles make the ANATOMICA sandal suitable as an adjunct in the management of:
- Plantar heel pain
- Foot hypermobility with generalised musculoskeletal pain & proprioceptive deficits
- Tibialis posterior tendinopathy & progressive collapsing foot deformity
- Midfoot osteoarthritis
- Transverse arch dysfunction with forefoot overload/‘metatarsalgia’, and 2nd MTP joint synovitis
- Hallux abductovalgus & 1st MPJ osteoarthritis
- Ankle osteoarthritis, ankle instability and peroneal overload

Pre-fabricated Orthotic Adjustability
The ANATOMICA sandal is a pre-fabricated foot orthoses. As such it can be modified like a pre-fabricated foot orthoses. With a raw EVA top surface, it can be heated & ground to adjust for different foot deformities. ANATOMICORE LABS also offers an arch pad that can be adhered to the arch contour where extra support or padding is needed.
