Sizing Information
The ANATOMICORE footbeds are based on EUROPEAN sizing
European sizing is more consistent than US/UK sizing - BUT there are STILL differences in European sizes!
To help find YOUR best size, refer to our table & follow these steps:
- Stand up with your full body weight evenly spread between both feet (don't do this sitting down - your feet are shorter when sitting!).
- Place your feet on a piece of paper & have someone help you trace around your feet. Measure BOTH feet as it is common for one foot to be longer or wider than the other.
- Measure from the very back of the heel to the end of your longest toe. This may NOT be your big toe!
- Measure across the widest part of your forefoot - from the base of your big toe to the base of your little toe.
- Match the length of your foot to the length of the footbed on the Sizing chart.

FOOT SHAPES
WIDE FEET?
If you have a wide foot, you may need to size up if your foot is more than 5mm wider than the footbed.
NARROW FEET?
No problem. Our footbed generally curves well around narrow feet & the 3 adjustable straps usually allow a secure fit.
BUNIONS?
If you have large (score 3) bunions (see our bunion - technically called Hallux Valgus - self scoring chart below), then shape of the toe area on the Anatomicore footbed may not suit you. However, if you can wear Birkenstocks then you may still be able to wear the Anatomica Sandals.
The main issue? The gap in the footbed where the big toe would normally sit can, in some people, be a trip hazard.
