WE HOLD OUR PRODUCT TO AN EXACTING STANDARD. HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY.
We are very happy with the function of our first production run of the ANATOMICA Sandal. But, as with any first production run, some pairs have minor cosmetic issues, mostly the paint used on the edges of the straps.
WHAT IS NOT AFFECTED
- The orthotic footbed shape — full-support for consistent load distribution & increased sensory feedback for balance
- The EVA midsole — lightweight, responsive, with built-in mild rocker profile
- The outer sole — long-wearing, high-traction tread
- The support straps — secure, adjustable fit, fully intact.
- The hardware — high quality, rust-resistant buckles on all models
- The clinical function of the sandal performs exactly as designed
WHAT IS AFFECTED
The PU edge paint finish is affected on all pairs. Depending on the model, this presents as fine strap edge cracking or minor peeling of the paint at the strap edge. This is a cosmetic finish issue only and does not affect the structure or function of the upper straps.
On rare pairs, sole edge separation may occur, a local shoe repairer can restore the bond quickly and inexpensively — a routine fix.
