ANATOMICA Sandals - First Production Run

We are very happy with the function of our first production run of the ANATOMICA Sandal. But, as with any first production run, some pairs have minor cosmetic issues, mostly the paint used on the edges of the straps.

Fortunately nothing that affects function.

WHAT'S NOT AFFECTED

All individual components — orthotic EVA footbed, outer sole, and upper — are premium full quality.

The EVA midsole — lightweight, responsive, with built-in mild rocker profile

The outer sole — long-wearing, high-traction tread

The support straps — secure, adjustable fit, fully intact

The hardware — high quality, rust-resistant buckles on all models

The clinical function of the sandal performs exactly as designed

WHAT IS AFFECTED

The PU edge paint finish is affected on all pairs. Depending on the model, this presents as fine strap edge cracking or minor peeling of the paint at the strap edge. This is a cosmetic finish issue only and does not affect the structure or function of the upper straps, only the paint that was applied to seal the 2 layers of material together.

On rare pairs where any sole edge separation is also present, a local shoe repairer can restore the bond quickly and inexpensively — a routine fix.

Sizing & Fit

Designed to fit true to European sandal sizing, ANATOMICA sandals provide a secure, supportive feel from first wear. If you're between sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size. Multiple adjustable straps allow you to fine-tune the fit for wider feet, higher insteps, or day-to-day changes in foot volume, so you can feel confident ordering your usual size online. A podiatrist can also help you customise many features of the footbed if needed.
